Ok, at closer inspection, I see 3 guys I had crushes on...do you know who they were? some turned out to be more than just a crush for awhile, oh to be a teenager again...:0 ha, just kidding!!!

Well, I know two of them... am I allowed to say? :)

I will freely admit that I had a crush on Joel! woo wee he was cute! I know he married a girl named Connie from Harding and they used to live somewhere here in Dallas.

Hey Ms. Joan,
Saw your blog, loved your pictures, thought of my summer camp! I enjoyed to look, laugh, and think, is that really who I think it is?
your new blogger,
Kaycie Fletcher

Hey Kaycie, so glad you commented. Come back any time! Yes, your mother and I had wild times back in the day! Love you.

Hi Joan! This is Teresa Sawyer -- remember me? I can't believe you have all of these fun pics! I'm going to have to go find my ISCC pics! Since Jenni Gage and I were such buddies, I'm not sure why I'm not in any of you pics :) I guess she should win the Miss Personality contest!

Joel Reeves is in Richardson and goes to Waterview CofC with his family.

Thanks for the memories!

Teresa! I do remember you! Wow...good to hear from ya. I guess she's in so many of my pics because we were co-counselors that year. She knew how to do the devos much better than I did, so I had to play nice so she would do them all for me! hee hee

I definitely think a reunion is in order soon! I swear I have been consumed with fun memories ever since Jenni Gage emailed me the blogs.

I'm just north of McKinney on 6 acres (yes, I have a tractor -- can you believe it)! We go to church at Greenville Oaks CofC in Allen. I'm the assistant for our youth minister there (who is actually Kendall Reaves' older brother). You know me, I just couldn't get away from all of those fun youth activities!

So glad to hear someone remember SOME spiritually aspect to this CHRISTIAN camp experience!!! Thanks Joan, though I don't remember being so great at devos, especially with the rowdy bunch we had!! :)

Teresa and a tractor...totally impressed...Any animals out there?
Do you still live here too, Jenni?

Anonymous said...

No animals to speak of...just my husband (James), 4-year-old (Dylan), and dog (Happy). We tried goats once, but that ended tragically so we won't go there!

Jenni is actually in College Station.

Ok, so I vote that Teresa, Joan, and Shelly plan a reunion at Iron Springs. It could be a weekend thing. How fun would that be. We could get Phillip Nichols to be the leader (his son in law somehow found out about my blog and commented on it). Isn't is a little crazy how all of these people are coming out of the woodworks? Ok, get to work, girls. I'll just show up.

I was hoping the "young Ones" were planning the reunion. Just kidding! I wonder if they even rent it out still, like for retreat-type things. You are right though, it would be fun. I even went DEEP into the closet just today and found some of my camp pictures. I will have to get Joan to post them, as I don't know how to do that kinda of stuff!!

Well, I saw Philip this weekend and gave him the url to this blog. SURELY he's got nothing better to do than plan our reunion... :)
